Everything Made Undyed
A collection assembled after the fact
Not a release. A grouping made years later, pulling every undyed piece and both founding figures into one reading that nobody planned at the time.
Assembled Late
This collection did not exist when its members were made. It was drawn afterwards, once there were enough undyed pieces in the record that the absence of dye stopped looking like a constraint and started looking like a position.
Why That Is Allowed
A collection made after the fact is honest as long as it says so. What would not be honest is backdating it — writing it as though the studio had planned the through-line from the first piece.
It did not. The through-line is real and the intent is invented, and both facts belong in the entry.
Both Figures, On Purpose
The Keeper and The Wanderer are released against each other everywhere else in the archive. Here they sit in the same list, because undyed cloth is the one thing neither of them argues about.
The archive allows collections to be drawn late. It does not allow them to pretend they were drawn early.
