The Unmarked Carry Bag
First Collection
A bag with no logo, no branding, and no external hardware that could be read as a signature. Its only identifier is a serial stamped inside the top seam, which is also its registry key.
Concept
The bag exists because the first collection needed something that would be used daily rather than kept. Everything else in the run rewards being left alone. This one rewards being carried until the base darkens.
Its identifier was deliberately placed where it cannot be photographed without being sought out. A mark that announces itself is decoration; a mark that has to be looked for is a record.
Design Philosophy
The bag was reduced until removing anything else would cost function. What survived that process:
- One main compartment. No dividers, because dividers decide for the owner.
- A base panel cut from the same cloth as the body, doubled — the failure point on every bag that has ever been repaired here.
- Straps long enough to cross the body without an adjuster, because adjusters are the second failure point.

Nothing about this bag is meant to be noticed at a distance. It was entered into the archive on the assumption that the people who own one will already know what they are holding.
Archive Note
Repairs on this piece are recorded against the unit, not against this entry. An entry describes what was made; the unit record describes what happened to it afterwards.
