The camera does not move for the first four minutes. That was a decision, not an accident — the room had to be allowed to be a room before it could be shown becoming anything else.

What the episode covers, in the order it covers it:

• The floor. A three-centimetre fall from one wall to the other, and the six weeks spent deciding whether to correct it or work around it.
• The window. North-facing, single-glazed, and the only reason this room was chosen over two cheaper ones.
• The table. Built in place because nothing that could be carried up the stairs was long enough.
• The first cut. Filmed from above, without commentary, in one take.

None of these are dramatic. Together they are the whole of what a studio is before anyone calls it that.

The runtime is deliberately longer than the material strictly requires. Compression would have made it a summary of a day rather than a record of one.
