• Run the finishing stage on a batch that had already been re-referenced upstream.
• Record the run whether or not anything went wrong.

Production Details

Finishing ran to completion with no station stopping the line. Edge treatment, pressing, and final closure all completed inside the planned window, and the batch moved to inspection the same day rather than the next.

There is very little to describe, which is the point of recording it. A log made only of exceptions eventually reads as though production is a sequence of near-misses, and that is not what the record shows over a year.

Quality Inspection

All units passed individual inspection, and the distribution check introduced after batch four was centred rather than clustered. Both results are reported here because the second one is the one that would have been missing before.
